![]() ![]() Running Launcher from "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Launcher\Launcher.exe" Hey I forgot I copied them on my PC and my Android is hooked toy PC now with an app so I found it The read only file thing I saw briefly seem interesting and worth a shot, plus I'll be back in about 3 hours so I'll get that damn launcher crash code that I finally found at 430 am in the logs. As for the network ipv6 etc I know is ok due to how strict the Xbox windows10 app is with needing the tunneling and all that network config to be on point to have a stable and fully functioning Xbox/win10 service. Unfortunately I disable all antivirus stuff on Windows ten as soon as install of os is complete, so that I knew was not an issue fore because defender has been disabled and so has any anti virus software. Maybe there's a debug argument for it, but I don't know it ![]() However, it could be that's a file that is being passed on where to read that login info, and that what could not be working properly.Ĭan you check your controlled access folder settings?Īs for the logs, readable as much as they chose to put valuable infos in I read an article on the support page that said that games launched through RGL don't need auth by themselves since RGL pass it on. Yeah and I'm sure it's doing a security checksum on the exe also, but really that should be able to be disabled till they can fix the coding and drm protection that probably is causing the issue at it's core. 90percent of the people I've talked to the last 20 hours are either not able to even boot the game, and the ones that can say that the game crashes constantly, and bet u that is from the launcher and some checks it's doing somewhere, and probably follow that crash back and probably will lead to the launcher crash issue. I'm sure that they point to a failure and from there a workaround might be an easy temp fix while fixing the issue might take time. Leaving the multiplayer and online services intact and disabling the broken parts, part that are probably pretty evident by now and the heap of trouble tickets and launcher logs that they have received since yesterday. Not necessarily, by disabling the launcher doesn't mean they have to disable all of the root commands and shared service protocols. That will probably upset the group of people that can actually play the game (myself included). If they get rid of the launcher then the online portion will probably not work along with any SC services that singleplayer needs. When I get back to the comp I'll post the launcher crash error number, it happens as soon as the game about to be handed off from launcher, thalauncher has a error and a code I did go thru those logs many times last night so I know exactly what you mean by easy to read lol, yes very easy, figured the programers should be able to read it just as easy lol There are a couple of logs there and they are easily readable Or in you Documents/Rockstar Games/Launcher However, I would make a copy of it, in case they change something in that install process.Īs for the crash itself, you might want to have a look in the 'event viewer' what's being logged. ![]() No need to keep downloading it over and over. It then verifies the game and just installs again some redistributables. Then, once you are done with any uninstall/install cycles, move it back where it was.Ĭlick 'Install', and by default it will point to the place it is already in. I did copy it to a drive, then moved it to desktop before uninstalling everything. Whatever you might do to with the RGL, backup the RDR2 install directory (Program Files/Rockstar Games) Uninstalling RGL is fine if there are still games installed, but you can't uninstall the Social Club if you have any game installed.
